Locked out of my Spotify account

I set up a Premium Spotify account using an outlook email address. A few weeks ago, my laptop died (I don't have a smart phone) and I'm now locked out of of my outlook email account because I couldn't remember my password and keep failing the security checks. I also couldn't remember Spotify password and have been unable to change it because it keeps sending codes to my outlook account, which I can't access. I've therefore been unable to access my Spotify account, but am still be charged for it every month. How can I get that Spotify account closed down?

Hey @ECH09, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

 

As you cannot access your email - it’s best to get in touch with someone who can help cancel and close the account to prevent being charged. In this case, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support. They'll take a look and do their best to help.

As you cannot access your email - it’s best to get in touch with someone who can help cancel and close the account to prevent being charged. In this case, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support. They'll take a look and do their best to help.

I am being charged from an account that I haven’t used in two years every month and I can’t log in to it as I don’t have access to the mail.

Try this link: Support - Spotify
<> and ask them to
cancel your account. It worked for me.

Thanks for your post. I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support through this form. You will be asked to enter a valid email address and Spotify will take a closer look at this for you.
