My Question or Issue

Hello.

When i try to subscribe a DUO plan then i can use PayPal as payment option but when i try to subscribe family plan then there is no option for PayPal. Is it a bug? It dont make sense for me. Any ideas?

Hey @KIH-KOH, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I understand your concern. PayPal is an acceptable payment method for the Duo plan, but it is not acceptable for the Family plan. You're able to see the available payment methods under each plan for Egypt here.

Hm. Last month i see the option to pay family plan with PayPal. I dont understand why there is no option for PayPal today.

What about exisiting family subscriptions that i pay with PayPal? Next bill is 04/27. Will Spotify cancel my sub?

Thanks for the reply!

Spotify will always notify you of any account changes through your email. Typically when these changes occur, your plan and payment method will remain the same - unless you change or cancel your plan information (the plan itself, payment method, etc).

We will see. In my account is everything fine. Next bill 04/27 with PayPal. 

Can you explain why Spotify accept PayPal for DUO and not for family anymore? Also fawry is not an option for family anymore. On Spotify start up page is Fawry, PayPal etc. listed as payment option. Maybe a bug?

Yes. You can always reach back out if something appears wrong on your account and I will see what to suggest - but everything should proceed as normal on your billing date. There may be reasons why Spotify removes and adds payment methods, but I do not have that information. The payment methods that you see on the website and on your account are the ones that Spotify currently offers.

My Question or Issue

I always pay using FawryPay but I can't find FawryPay as a method of payment in the 6 months family plan. But in other plans such as the Single plan or Duo plan I can pay using FawryPay. I just want to know if its an issue or if its intentional ?

Hey there @Splashy1, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

That change is expected and has been updated when you try to change plans. Since you are actively using Fawry as your payment method, it will not have an effect on you unless you cancel, or change your payment details. You can find available payment methods for each plan available in your area here.

Can you confirm that active subscriptions still works?

Your current subscription will still remain active and unchanged unless you change plans, or your payment method.
