Not able to subscibe at original price when the plan is on discount.

Currently, there is a discount on annual subscriptions in India. (Till 4th November 2021).

Since I am not eligible for that discount, I want to buy it at the original price.

But the site is not allowing to do so.

When I tried for payment site redirected me to the plans page with the message that I am not eligible for this discount.

 

I am not sure if it is a country (India) specific issue or it works the same globally.

I hope so at least I can buy an annual subscription after the discount ends.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community.

Could you try activating the subscription using the link here? It's a good idea to also give it a go using an incognito browser.

First of all thanks for replying.

About your solutions.

1. Link given by you is the same link I was trying, so it is giving the same result.

2. I tried incognito browsing, it leads me to the US billing page.

So I was not able to do it through the browser.

The thing worked for me:-

I tried to activate premium through the mobile application. 

And I got it at discount price. (even technically I wasn't eligible for that).

So somehow it worked for me but, there are some flaws in Spotify's mechanism.
