Not sure if anyone has had this issue...but I'm in the military and go out on a ship for a long time. Last time I downloaded a bunch of offline songs, CRITICAL to remaining sane while on the ocean for a while. But on the first of the month (like May 1st) all the songs undownloaded...maybe because Spotify could not recognize I was paying for premium since there's no internet in the middle of the ocean?? Anyone have any clue if this is a thing that Spotify must be able to verify that you pay premium. Obviously I don't want to pay 10 bucks a month if my songs will all undownload on the first of the month. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Hey @jenn070,
Premium users need to go online every 30 days, so Spotify can check that your subscription is still active and count track plays to compensate artists. Synced tracks will become unavailable if you do not.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
