Straight to the point:
I noticed that in the Netherlands, users can subscribe to a Spotify Premium account with the payment method IDEAL. In Belgium, we don't have that. However, we do have PAYCONIQ (our version of IDEAL).
As it stands now in Belgium, you either pay with a credit card or PayPal, but in order to have a PayPal account, one needs a credit card. In other words, if you do not have a credit card, you can not have Spotify. Of course, there are gift cards, as an alternative. However, that is such a cumbersome and impractical method.
Why doesn't Spotify offer PAYCONIQ as a payment method in Belgium (and possibly other countries that work with the PAYCONIQ-app such as Luxemburg, Netherlands)?
It would solve the recurrent problem people/potential Spotify users have that don't have a credit card and will win Spotify a lot of users and to begin with a logical solution to an easy-to-solve problem.
Interested in thoughts on the topic, as well as hoping somebody from Spotify will pick this up.

Hi @TGKhalil,
Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting.
At the moment, unfortunately Payconiq is not a supported payment method in Belgium.
However, PayPal allows you to link debit cards and sometimes, bank accounts. Another good option is looking up for virtual cards, which work as credit cards but are prepaid.
Hope this clears things up. Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.
Hi there @TGKhalil,

Thx for your quick response @Mafeg.  I didn't know about the alternatives you mentioned besides the virtual cards, so a sincere thank you for helping. That'll help me.
It's more so a general topic I wanted to highlight (probably already done before me): more payment methods in general in the world, because many people understandably want to be Spotify Premium users, but do not have a lot of the options we have and to start of no credit card.
So believe it or not, more so a thing I hope Spotify notices for others ...
The more the merrier (talking about users/community) so come on Spotify help us to help you grow.
