Paying for duo but not using it, would like refund

Paying for duo but not using it, would like refund

I have been paying for Spotify Premium Duo for a long time (maybe over a year) and sending the link to my husband to join. Every time he tries the link it says error. This seems like a rip off, but life gets so busy we keep saying we’ll get to the bottom of it and haven’t until now. Please can I get help getting a backdated refund and separately how does my husband get help to get the link work so we can start to use Duo in earnest? Thanks.

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out.

Please share the exact error message he's seeing 🙂

Looking forward to your response.

Hi, I send him the link, he clicks, it asks for his password, he enters it (and knows ir to be correct), it says incorrect password so he tries to reset. When he resets the password and tries the link again, it says, ‘Error, incorrect reset link’.

Any ideas how I go about getting a refund?

Thanks.

Hey @Lil_85,

Thanks for getting back.

He shouldn't be getting such message when accessing the invite link. It sounds as if he tries to access the password reset link again after he has already successfully reset his password. 🙂

He can also try using his username (instead of his email address) and password for logging into Spotify. If he doesn't know his username, he can check it here.

Lastly, if you believe that you're eligible for a refund, feel free to reach out to Support here.
