My Question or Issue

Can I leave a family plan I am on to join a duo plan instead 

how do I remove myself from the family plan is that only by the account holders actions or can I do this myself somehow

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

You can leave the Premium Family plan by following these steps:

1. Log in to your account page
2. Under Your plan, click Change Plan
3. Scroll to Spotify Free and click Cancel Premium 

When you leave the Premium Family plan, your account will immediately revert to the free service. The Premium Duo plan manager can then invite you to their plan by following these steps.

Bear in mind that to accept the invite to Premium Duo, you must reside at the same address as the Premium Duo plan manager. Also note that members can only switch between different Premium Family or Premium Duo plans once in 12 months.
