Premium Duo Question

Solved!

Premium Duo Question

It's just me and my 9 year old son at my house. Can I sign up for a Duo account to give him his own account? If so, can someone walk me through how I do that? When I try to create an account for him it says that he does not meet the age requirements. Thanks in advance!

Hey @-p0f9m_wqo6jb ,

You could create an account with an email addresse that you own and put your date of birth 🙂 If that isn't possible, Spotify's Terms and Conditions apply and your kid, unfortunately, won't be able to use the app.

Thanks for reaching out.

It depends. Can you please tell me the country you're currently in? 🙂

Hey @-p0f9m_wqo6jb ,

Thanks for getting back.

Okay, so Spotify Kids is, unfortunately, only available for Premium Family plans. You can find some info about what Spotify Kids is here.

Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂

What if I just want to give him a "normal" Spotify account? I find Spotify Kids to be too limiting. I've been letting him use my account for now but it's messing with my recommendations, etc. so I want him to have his own.
