Premium trial payed, but not available

This morning I payed for my Premium account (3 months trial period) and I have received a payment proof of spotify. Why can't I use Premium, although I already logged out and in again?

Hey @Mischa72, I'll be happy to help you.

 

Could you try signing out/in of your Spotify account? If that doesn't help, could you try following these steps?

Unfortunately going through these steps didn't help.

- Account is still on "Free".

- Payment is done and processed.

- I have another account, but that's a free account.

- I have no other accounts.

A few days ago I ordered the same Premium account for my daughter (on her own credentials) and that one works like a charm.

Could you also send me a screenshot of your Receipts page on your Spotify account that says 'Free'? Please make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the community.

Hi Billy-J,

I think I know what went wrong.

When I received the "invite" from Spotify for the €0,99 for a 3-month
Premium account I used my invite and my bank account to upgrade the Spotify
account from my daughter to Premium. After that I tried to use the same
invite and bank account to upgrade my own free subscription to Premium.
Unfortunately I tried to pay with the same bank account as I did for my
daugters Premium. Now I seem to be blocked for upgrading my Free account to
Premium using the invite my daughter got, even if I use my daughters bank
account (didn't try, but that's what Spotify wants to tell me in their FB
help).

So in the end helping my daughter left me in a **bleep** position. I feel
ripped off, as I should be able to upgrade my free account to Premium using
the €0,99 invite.
