Hey @JenniMcCarty,

Welcome to the community!

With Premium for Family, you and up to 5 members of the same household can each enjoy their own individual Premium account. You'll need to create a separate account for your husband and other family members, and then invite them to your Premium for Family plan by following these steps:

  1. Go to your account page.
  2. Click Premium for Family in the menu on the left.
  3. Click SEND INVITE.
  4. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and click SEND INVITE. A confirmation email will be sent to you when they accept the invite and are added to the plan.

Once you've sent the invites, the people you've invited can follow these steps to join the Premium for Family plan:

  1. You'll receive an email with a link to join. Open and click ACCEPT INVITATION. You're redirected to your account page, where you'll see a confirmation screen.
Note: If you're not already logged in or don't have an account yet, you'll be asked to log in or sign up before seeing the confirmation.

  2. Enter your details and click SUBMIT to join the Premium for Family plan.

For more information, check out the Premium for Family support article.

Let me know if you have any questions. Happy listening 🙂

Sorry to resurrect this thread.  I have setup family with everyone having their own login information but when my daughter plays on her account it stops my account and visa versa.  What can we do about this?

My family members were using spotify with my premium account. Therefore I have upgraded my account from premium to family premium. When I send an invitation to family members to join they get the message “you can not be added to your own account”. All family members have created their own free spotify account and they keep receiving the same message. Can you help me.
