Recently bought Premium but still have features from free

Recently bought Premium but still have features from free

Hello i bought Spotify premium, yesterday and it still acts somewhat like i have a free account. I cant disable shuffle play, im not allowed to see what song is playing next, i cant go back to a previous song. I do have some features of Premium like no ads and unlimited skips but im just wondering why my account is acting like this. My premium is attached to my main account and it does work at least partially.

Hey @agriswold73, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Could you try signing out/in of your account in the app? If that doesn't help, could you try following these steps?

Let me know how this goes 🙂

Note: I'm not a Spotify employee.

I've done all those steps and nothing's changed. Ive logged out of and back
into my accout at least 5 times now and nothing. Ive checked to make sure
that i was logged into the correct account and i am. Ive done everything
that article suggested and nothing happend.

Not only that but instead of having "unlimited" skips i seem to have the same number of skips as someone with a free account. This is seriously annoying ive spent the money to have a premium account and this is what i get for it? Im honestly tempted to just cancel my premium and just deal with the **bleep** ads if this is how its going to be.

Hey there @agriswold73,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community!

Just to confirm, is this only happening on a certain device? If you've made sure you're logged in the right account, we'd recommend logging in on a different device, or with the web player

If the issue doesn't persist on another device or the Web Player, we'd suggest performing a clean reinstallation of the app on your original device. You can follow the steps for your device in this Spotify Answer.

Let us know how you get on! We'll be right here if you need more help.

Have a lovely day 🙂
