My Question or Issue

I let my student verification lapse and was charged the full premium fee for 3 months. I renewed it today and it said the renewal was successful, and that my bills would be AUD $6.99 per month. But in my account billing info it’s still saying that my next bill will be AUD $13.99.

 

I’m a PhD student and taught briefly at my university a couple of years ago. When I went through the SheerID verification process, the page that came up through my uni said that my affiliation was “staff” - could this be the problem? If not, how do I solve it? I can’t afford to continue paying the full premium fee.

Nvm, managed to fix it. For some reason even though my country was registered to Australia and I’m studying at an Australian university, when I renewed my student verification it assumed I was based in the US and said I wasn’t eligible for the student account bc I’m studying in Australia. I updated my address and it solved it.
