Retroactive Student Discount

I recently heard about the Hulu-Spotify joint discount, so I logged in to see if I may join my student accounts. I have been paying the $9.99 full price every month since Nov 2015, even though my account is associated with my .edu email and I attend an accept university. Are there any credits I may recieve? I feel like I have been tricked into paying double every month for almost two years.

I'm not 100% sure, but it might be because you cannot combine the two discounts and that is why you're paying $9.99. I'll have a look for you and see what I can find!

I actually agree 100% with the OP... I have been a full-time student and paying $9.99 for Premium since February 2016. I just learned about the student discount and if I had known about it, I would have used the student discount and saved myself overpaying by double. What can be done, if anything? I am going to continue using Spotify regardless, but spending half as much as I do now could really help.

Thanks for looking into this! I was not combining discounts with anything, rather just unknowingly paying the full premium price. Please let me know what you find, Jordan!

Hey @Cziriak, I haven't found anything yet, but if your trying to use the Student discount, try signing up for it as you usually would and see if it works this time. As for the Hulu discount I'm not sure how that would work (I'm still looking) as Hulu isn't available where I am. I am assuming you might need to sign up to it through Hulu? I'll let you know as soon as I find anything, thanks so much for your patience guys!
