Spotify Duo

My spouse and I have two separate Spotify Premium accounts. We want to switch to the Spotify Duo subscription, but we both don't want to lose our current accounts. When switch will our current accounts still be active, but will be billed according to Spotify Duo subscription?

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

 

No worries—as a Spotify user, you keep your same account (with all your playlists and saved music) no matter which plan you switch to or from. So by switching to Premium Duo, your account and your spouse’s account will both still be active; and only the plan manager for the new Premium Duo plan will be billed for the new subscription going forwards.

 

You or your spouse can sign up for Premium Duo as the plan manager here, and then invite the other member by following these steps

 

Bear in mind that to accept the invite, the other member must live at the same address as the plan manager. Also note that members can only switch between different Premium Duo or Premium Family plans once a year.
