My Question or Issue

Hi, I recently tried to start my Hulu account using my Spotify Premium account. It brings me to Hulu.com to setup an account. I set it up but then was charged a $5.99 monthly service fee despite logging in through my Spotify Premium account services tab in Spotify. When I contacted Hulu, the rep said there isn't a Spotify account with my email address. Could you please help me access my Hulu account using my Spotify login? Thanks!

Judging by the screenshot you sent us, it looks like you've already linked your Spotify and Hulu accounts.

 

Just to be sure, do you mind trying the following:

  1. Open an incognito window
  2. Go to your account overview page here
  3. Log in using your Spotify account details
  4. Navigate to the Your Services tab (alternatively, go here)?

You should see the Start Watching button, which confirms that you're being billed for Hulu via Spotify. Clicking on it should take you to the Hulu account which is linked to your Spotify account.

 

If you're also receiving an additional monthly charge from Hulu, then it's likely that you have a secondary Hulu account on which you're being charged for a separate subscription. Make sure to reach out to Hulu Support so that they can give you a hand with that.

I checked my Spotify account and do confirm I see the Spotify Premium with
Hulu services tab. But when I click on the other link and goto "Start
Watching", it brings me to the Hulu page asking me to resubscribe, here's a
snapshot of the page I was sent to:

I also called customer service and they said my Spotify account isn't
linked to the Hulu account that would waive my monthly subscription fee.
I'm confirming I'm only being billed for Spotify and not Hulu anymore, as
they waived the $5.99 fee for my account. I just need them to activate the
account that my Spotify is linked to so I can begin using their service.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide to have this
resolved.

Are you able to open an incognito/private window and activate the connection between the services by following this link?

 

Just to confirm, did the folks at Hulu confirm that you only have one account because sometimes similar issues could be caused by having multiple accounts?

 

And one last thing, could send your screenshot again as it's not appearing right now?
