Student discount removed without notice

I tried using Hulu today and my account would not log in (haven't used Hulu in months). After digging around I notice spotify changed my account back to regular premium without ever sending me a notice, this happened 4 months ago. This was 2 months after starting the student account so it wasn't past the 12 month limit. I go to restart the discount and it tells me my student credentials are already on another account? This is my only account and I searched my emails to make sure it's the one I used for my student discount.
