Subscription double charged

I tried to register on spotify for students, I already entered all my card details, it says that it wont charge until all supporting documents has  been provided. then I realise I have to present less than 3 months docs that I dont have, as I am graduating and all my docs are older than 3 months. So I did not continue and I decided to opt for a regular premium one. then I proceed to pay for premium subscription which is 11.99$. when I checkee my bank account spotify charged me 5.99$ for students and 11.99$ for regular premium. What actions should I take?. How do I get back the 5.99$??

Hey @h08ou3j7pow6o3n,

If Spotify is unable to verify your student I.D, you won’t be eligible to claim the student discount. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken.

Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank. You can reach out to them for more information about any pending payments.
