Subscription with Gift Card

I was wondering, if I upgrade to premium with a spotify gift card, does it still give me that 1 month free subscription and then after that month is done it goes into the gift card payment for the 2nd month, then being 2 months in total, one free, the other one paid with the gift card  ?

Great question.

You should be able to redeem your Spotify Gift card here. If you're not able to, then you would need to start Premium with a recurring payment method before you can redeem the gift card and the Premium time will be added to your plan past the free trial.
