My Question or Issue

I have a really hard time justifying my spotify subscription when some of my favorite things to listen to have ads. Why am I supporting a business to remove ads that do not remove ads on the podcasts I watch; like the Joe Rogan podcast? I support you so you do not waste my time with ads,yet, I will get them anyway

Currently podcasters can choose if they facilitate paid promotion and ads on their Podcasts.  You can read more abut this here.

Yes I understand that. But isn't it possivle for the podcasters to put ads for people who do not pay. And subscribers still get an ad free very important experience. One that seems to be promised by spotify?

You can read more about the official response by Spotify on this in the Idea thread I've linked to above. 

You can share your opinion on the matter in the thread. The right teams at Spotify are monitoring the responses there and taking the feedback provided by the users. This might be something that is changed in the future, but we don't have any official info on exactly when or if it will be done.

I appriciate your fast replies. It has been very meaningful to recieve an answer so quickly. However, I still feel strongly about ads on a podcast for subscribers and would like to converse more.
