My Question or Issue

I used a gift card yesterday and I’m still on the free version of Spotify, my gift card successfully went through so I think it was activated but I haven’t gotten premium yet.

Heyho!

Did you log out and back in and check if it works afterwards because sometimes you need to do that for Spotify to sync the info. And did you look at the status of your subscription maybe there went something wrong.

Could you try logging out > restart device > log in? Also, let me know what your subscription status says here.

 

If that doesn’t help, try following the steps provided in this support article

I tried logout, restart my phone and login but it didn’t work and it says
my account is free

Got it. Could you also attach a screenshot of your Receipts page so I can take a closer look? Make sure to hide sensitive information when posting to the Community. 

 

Did you also receive any email confirmation stating your account is now Premium?
