Switching Countries with a Premium Subscription

I recently moved from the US to the Netherlands. Reading up on how to change one's country (https://support.spotify.com/us/article/How-can-I-change-my-country-setting/) notes that just changing your payment method to one issued in the new country should prompt you to change your country. However, when I try to change the method to my NL credit card, I just get an error message saying that the zip code is invalid for my country, and I can't progress. This happens regardless of whether my country setting (at the bottom of the spotify support webpages) is set to the US or the Netherlands.

 

Is my only option to wait for my subscription to expire, then change the info? I'd rather avoid not having Premium as we can't get a phone subscription yet (must have an NL bank account for 3 months first), so I can't use cell data at all, so using Spotify offline is one of the few things I can do on my phone at the moment during my commute.
