When I try to download, I get the message "You have reached the device limit." Even if I sign out of all devices from the account settings screen, this does not improve the situation.

I recommend maling sure that you've removed all Spotify offline music from the devices that you don't use, otherwise, they'll still count towards your offline device limit. 🙂
To remove offline music from a device, open the Spotify app > Settings > Storage > Remove all downloads.

Some devices have already been sold and cannot be operated on.

I'm trying to download on a new device. Someone said contact suport to get them to do it, but I literally cannot find the support contact anywhere. Just an endless nested list of menus with info on how to do things 😬 How come we can't remove devices ourselves?!
I feel this is a big oversight. All other apps I use with cloud (discord, telegram, etc) has this feature. Would really like for it to be implemented again, as I know it used to be there in the past.
