Trying to change from individual to duo

I'm trying to change my plan from Premium Individual to Premium Duo but I'm getting a message that I'm not eligible whenever I hit the "get started" button. I reviewed the terms & conditions and nothing in there applies to me as to why I would not be eligible. Please help! Thank you.

Hi @craptooodle!

 

Hmm, you should be able to switch from Premium Individual to Premium Duo directly, unless you have Premium with a partner company (e.g your phone or internet provider). In that case you first need to cancel with them and wait for your current Premium to end.

 

Could you check your payment information on your account page and see if you're billed through a partner company? If so, you'll have to reach out to them and ask them to cancel the subscription on their end. When your account reverts to Free, you'll be able to subscribe to Duo directly through Spotify.
