Two accounts on same credit card - how to change?

My Question or Issue

Hi, an ex-friend of mine runs his Spotify account on my credit card, the same I use for my personal account.  When I changed my credit card number on my personal acount, I still get his charges on my new card, which has not been changed in his account! How is that possible and how can I stop making payments to his account? I can't reach the guy in question, so I'm stuck with his monthly bill.

Hi @daverouleau, thanks for writing!

Well, each Spotify account is independent, so it doesn't matter what payment method you use in yours - if you want to change/remove your credit card from your friend's account, you have to log in that account and do it.

If you can't do it, you might need to call your bank and see what they can do for you.
