Why am I not allowed to buy premium after my last subscription ended?

Why am I not allowed to buy premium after my last subscription ended?

My last subscription was on an old card that is not in use now and my subscription had ended. Now a couple of months later my account is saying I’m not able to get a new subscription?

What device did you use to try to subscribe to Premium?

 

When you click on the link bellow and follow the steps, what error message do you get?

I tried subscribing through both my phone and computer (linked with the same acc)

And all I get for an error msg is that the payment failed. I’ve made sure I have plenty for it. All that’s different is that I have a new card

Hey @Crowleyfell67,

 

In this case I suggest you to check if your new card is registered in the same country of your Spotify account, not expired or canceled, enabled for foreign, secure online, and recurring purchases, opted into e-commerce and cross border payments.

 

If you checked all of this and the issue persists, please try entering your payment details again using a private/incognito window or get in touch with your payment provider, so you can check if everything is in order.
