Why is my account not premium even if I've been paying for it?

Why is my account not premium even if I've been paying for it?

I have been paying for Premium since January 2018. From January 2018 until January 2022, I was subscribed to Premium Student. In January 2022 I seamlessly transitioned to a full-cost, full-benefit Premium account without any issues. I have been charged the full Premium cost of $9.99 in January, Feb, March, and April of 2022, most recently on April 8th, 2022. However, today, April 21st, I logged out of my account in an attempt to fix other issues (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ongoing-Issues/Now-Playing-bar-missing-on-Android/idi-p/5364978). When I logged back in it said my subscription is the "free" tier. Also, today I changed my region from USA to France as I have been living in France for 6 months.

Hi Mario,

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my inquiry.

After a bit of troubleshooting and hunting around I figured out what the
problem was. There were two Spotify accounts attached to my email address.
The first was my primary account that I have been paying to be a premium
account. This account I had always logged into via Facebook until a few
days ago. The second account is an account that I don't remember creating
and had no music library. At the time of my initial post, attempting to log
into Spotify with Facebook would create an error, and logging with my email
would direct me to the second account with no premium subscription and no
music library.

What I did to solve this is A: delete the second account that I've hardly
ever used. B: Then, I went into Facebook settings and disconnected my main
Spotify account from my Facebook account. This allowed me to log into that
account via email/password log-in process, and solved most of the issues.

Sincerely,

Mangowallby
