can't join duo plan

my boyfriend invited me to join a duo plan, I added our address, where we currently live, he has the same address in his account as well. The only difference is that my account's country is Serbia, where we live, and his account's country is Kazakhstan. When I tried to join after adding the very same address, Spotify told me we should live in the same address, but we do and we added the same address!

Thanks for reaching out.

 

You're unable to join his plan because the country settings don't match. Since you both live in Serbia, he first needs to update his country setting to Serbia by following these steps.
