I am trying to chnge country settings, following the instructions found here: https://support.spotify.com/us/article/How-can-I-change-my-country-setting/
but after I changed the payment settings to the new country the profile is still fixed on the previous country and the catalog as well, even if the accepted payment method belongs to the new country.
Any idea?

You need to wait until your next billing date. The country setting won't update until then.

If you're having troubles updating your payment details, we'd recommend taking a look at the steps listed in this support site article first.
You should be able to find there additional details like when the changes will be updated on your account.
Keep in mind that you can always track your subscription changes in your account overview page.
