subscription help

My three kids each have subscription but now we want one family subscription. Can they cancel theirs and then we can start fresh with one family subscription? Will they lose what they saved?

Hello redondo!

When switching from singlular premium accounts to a family account, only the creator of the family account with be paying. In addition, each singular user may keep their own accounts, which will continue to track their individual data, as well as allow them to keep all of their saved albums/songs, and playlists!

In addition, the payment date should be similar to the original date on the creator account.

I hope this helps! 🙂

Hey @redondo!

Only the owner of the Premium for Family plan will be charged. The monthly billing date will be on or around the same date you first subscribed. We never charge the other members.

Also, All of  account the details will remain the same, including any saved music, playlists, and followers. Each family member gets to keep their own individual account to play and save their own music.

Please be aware that, if you upgrade your subscription from regular Premium to Premium for Family, your payment date will likely be a few days earlier than it had been. This is because of the difference between the price of Premium for Family and the regular Premium subscription you were on. You can track all this on your Subscription page

Note: The owner will be charged the full Premium for Family rate, regardless of the number of members.
