why can't i start duo plan

I recently joined the single plan, but would like to add my husband to my account and upgrade to a duo plan.

Hey @ 

Each duo member has to have a separate username and password.

You can create it here.

I suggest creating it with an email address (not the one used for Facebook, if possible), since you'll be able to get a Spotify username / password. Using Facebook will not let you do that.

The account that pays then links the other duo member to the plan through the Spotify website.

After that, each of you will be able to listen to music at the same time, have different playlists, library and friends.
