Am I missing something? No "find in playlist/search in playlist" in web player.

My Question or Issue

I'm very surprised and disappointed there is no search playlist or find in playlist feature in the web player.  It's such a basic and extremely useful feature if you have a long playlist and want to queue up a bunch of your favourite songs/albums in that playlist without have to scroll and manually pick them 1 by 1. 

This feature exists in the mobile app and standalone app but I can't find it anywhere in the web player. Really strange that this hasn't been implemented yet.

The Search in Playlist feature is currently not available on the Web player. The Web player offers a more limited set of functions, as it's designed to load faster on more types of hardware.

Spotify constantly strives to improve the user experience with its features and the easiest way to achieve this is by regular app updates. That’s why we appreciate you taking the time to share your suggestions with the Community. 

If you think other users might also like it, go ahead and create an idea on the relevant idea board. We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration to improve the app. Here you can read more on how ideas work.

We also suggest checking this help article for useful tips on how to submit an idea. As a heads-up, it's good to know that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for the idea to be implemented.

Ideas-page are paused and there is no ideas about us wanting a playlist search in the web player, what a joke. I'm sure you heard of it many times and I guess your "Ideas"-page is always on pause or you are removing our ideas when you don't want to implement them.  So maybe start listen to your paying customers and implement a web player search, it isn't hard. But yeah, I know, you just want to push us to the desktop or mobile app... It's really stupid! Now I (we?) have to use the mobile to search withing a playlist while using the computer to manage and check our playlists. So the web player is at this point only worth 1,5 of 5 stars in my mind because of this stupidity...

They limit features in the webapp for the same reason they want you to use mobile. Downloading software allows more rigorous data tracking.
