Can you have different shuffle settings for different playlists?

Solved!

Can you have different shuffle settings for different playlists?

I have a premium plan and use Spotify on a Samsung S20FE

I have made several playlists and want to shuffle some but not others. However, this doesn't seem to be possible? Whenever I change the shuffle settings for one playlist (on or off) this automatically also happens in the other playlists.

Am I missing something or is this really not possible?

Hey there @CassandraBay

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

If you enable the Shuffle option from the Now Playing view, it'll stay enabled if you switch to any other playlist or album, as this is a general option and not for every individual playlist.

However, you can have the Shuffle option disabled and start playing a playlist in shuffle by tapping on the green play/shuffle button at the top of the playlist. By doing so, if you switch to a different playlist that you want to play in order, you just need to tap on one song and it'll start playing from there, without shuffle.

Hope this helps clear things up. If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.
