On July 4th, we bought two $10 dollar Spotify gift cards at the self checkout section, and when we tried to redeem it we got a pop up saying "something went wrong." Two days later, we tried inputting the code again but it stated the same thing. We talked to customer service at Safeway and they said that there was nothing they could do because the receipt says it's been "approved." Please help, thank you.
First thing you can try when getting this error message is opening the redeem code page in a private/incognito window. This step makes sure you avoid issues with your browser's cache. If that doesn't do the trick try again in a different kind of browser.
If you still can't redeem the code after trying a private browser session, send us a screenshot showing the page along with the error message you receive.Just attach the image to your next response to us by using the Insert Photos option in the post editor. This way we can take a closer look at the issue. Make sure the screenshot doesn’t show any sensitive info such as payment or personal data.
