My Question or Issue

Sometimes on my home screen I have a menu titled "continue listening" or "continue episode" not sure exactly. It has a list of several podcast episodes that I'm partially through, and I can just tap that episode and pick right back up where I left off. Problem is that it's not always on my home screen, it shows up at seemingly random times. Other times there's a "new episodes" menu, or nothing at all.

Also to add to this, spotify does not save what episode of a podcast I am on. Example: I'm on episode 403 of 600+ episode podcast. Every time I open the podcast it puts me at episode 1 and I have to scroll through every episode to get to the one I want. Sorting by unplayed shows no episodes at all.

Can you let us know if you've already tried to log out > restart your device > log back in? Test it and see if that makes any difference for you in the first place. 

If it doesn't, this issue might be caused by your device's cache. Not to worry, reinstalling the app with the steps here should help you solving this. Keep in mind that you'll need to re-download your offline music and podcasts afterwards.
