Downloaded songs keeps getting deleted from iOS devices

I have been looking for answers on this but nothing so far. I have iOS devices where I have downloaded loads of Playlists. However, randomly the downloaded songs gets cleared and I have to download all over again.
This is very frustrating and I have done the above exercise various times.
Can someone advise what can I do to resolve this?

Do the songs appear to never have been downloaded at all, or they're greyed out? 

Can you please try to copy the liked songs to a new playlist, download it and check if the same thing happens?

On another note, if you think that someone someone else has gained access to your Spotify account and has deleted them - check out this Spotify Answer to see what steps you'll need to take next. If that's the case - to prevent this from happening in the future, there are many measures you can take to protect your account, such as resetting your password every few months, and not using passwords you have used on other sites. There is also a great guide here with some more measures on protecting your account.
