My Question or Issue

I accidentally excluded a playlist from my taste profile around a year ago. I re-included it around 2 weeks ago but I don't see it in my listening history at all (while my other playlists do show up). Is there a way to fix this?

Hey there @Yuzu9,

Welcome to the Community!

Have you tried re-syncing the app? That can be done very quickly - simply log out and then log back in to your account twice in a row and that will force a sync of your account.  Here's more info on how taste profiles work.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Elana,

I tried that a couple of times, and I even unistalled the app but no luck.

Hi @Yuzu9

Thanks for your reply.

Could you check if you're able to see that playlist in your listening history on a different device?

If this only happens on your phone, you mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?

We'll be on the lookout.

Hi Eni,

When I played songs from that playlist in my desktop, I do see it in the "recently played" section. I do notice that the structure of how it's shown is a bit different than my phone. In my phone, my listening history is structured by playlist, then the songs I listened to. In the desktop, it's only the songs that are shown.

Also, I did a clean reinstall on my phone and the problem still persists.

Hi @Yuzu9,

Thanks for the reply. Could you send us some screenshots from both desktop and your phone of what exactly you see in the listening history? Then, we can compare and investigate this further.

Keep us posted.

Hey @Yuzu9,

Thanks for the screenshots.

As a next step, try creating a new playlist and copying over the contents of the old one. You can use the Add to other playlist feature from the playlist context menu.

Then, try playing the new one for a couple of days and see if it will appear.

Keep us posted.
