Local File cover art won't update?

My Question or Issue

Used an app to change the cover art for my local file music but for some reason they won't update on spotify? I've seen some videos where they used the same app and it worked perfectly for them.  Version: 1.1.48.625.g1c87c7f7-a (App I used was tagscanner)

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Currently there is no option to add cover art to specific songs in your local files from the Spotify app itself. 

You can use other third party software which will allow you to manipulate the cover art and song info like artists, album etc.

You can check out the solutions that other users have shared in this thread for more ideas.
