Local Files/Playlist got deleted accidentally

Solved!

Local Files/Playlist got deleted accidentally

Hi,

Some weeks ago I deleted accidentally my Local playlist. I literally have no idea when did it happen or how I did it.

When I check my desktop app in the "Your Library" there is a Local Files folder with a Green folder icon, and there are songs inside, but I cant find that folder on my phone, so I cant sync it. Only local files folder on my phone is the one that shows the files on my phone physically.

Is there any way to restore the function?

Hey @AdamJayCross,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

The Local files option on Android was tweaked a while ago to allow you to import Local files from the phone's memory directly into Spotify.

In order to sync local files from your PC, you need to add them to a separate playlist on your PC. After that you can open that on your phone and download it. That's it 🙂
