My Question or Issue
-I went to my desktop and enabled the show local files in my setting. I see the Local File on my desktop Spotify.
-I then created a new folder Called Local Spotify and transferred the songs from the Local Files folder to the new Local Spotify folder I made. I also pressed the download button.
-When I go on my phone, I see the Local Spotify folder with the song in it. I pressed download on my phone also. However, even though the folder is downloaded, the song is grayed out, and it says "Spotify can't play this right now. This track isn't available on your device".
Steps taken:
-Cleared the cache on both the desktop and mobile app
-Uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify on my desktop and mobile
I would appreciate any help.
Thank you

Hey @Krishp1993,
Thanks for reaching out!
Are both devices are connected to the same network? Could you let us know the file extension of the song you're trying to sync over to your phone? Note that the sync works best with .mp3s, so if the song is in another format, try converting it to an .mp3 instead to see if that does the trick.
Keep us posted. Cheers!

Going on the same network worked. Thank you so much!
My desktop was connected through the Ethernet cable. So I tried it from my laptop while connected to the same network as my phone and it synced!
Awesome @Krishp1993! Glad to hear everything's okay now.
