My Question or Issue

Almost overnight 80% of my songs are listed as Not Available on my playlists
Over 15 years I have 30+ Playlists and thousands of songs and suddenly they are all gone? The playlists are intact - the songs are listed as unavailable.

Is there some kind of artist strike against Spotify?

Could you check if the problem persists on the web player as well? The web player is available on open.spotify.com.

 

If you are able to see the songs on the web player, try a clean-install of both the mobile and desktop apps to see if it makes any difference.

 

However, if you cannot play them on the web player either, I'd recommend creating a new account. Log into that account to confirm if the issue is account specific.

 

Also, make sure there is no active VPN/DNS/AdBlocker active that could be interfering with the app.
