New Episodes feed has been removed from My Library

When I opened the spotify app this morning to download any new episodes from my favourite podcasts in My Library, I found a note where my New Episodes feed would be to say this was now not part of My Library and that I needed to go to Home to find new episodes. So now I have to scroll endlessly through my home page to find the banner new episodes of podcasts, and then I have to open each episode individually to then click again to get to download them. Then when I go back to the homepage it takes me back to the top again and I have to scroll down the page AGAIN to find new episodes and go through the process each time. It was a stupid change and I don't understand why you would make it so much harder for users than previously. How is this beneficial?

It is now a jumbled mess of every podcast episode with no regards to if it has been viewed or not.

No, this hasn't cleared anything up - I can't see the following feed, and it makes absolutely no sense for you to remove the new episodes list. It's a solution to a problem that never existed. The connection between me and the creators was absolutely fine, what does that even mean? Pointless update that has made things much worse.

Seems like Twitter. Massive amount of employees who need to pretend to do something so they constantly need to make the product worse and hire new employees so that they can become managers. Or there is some cash incentive similarly to the shuffle which doesnt shuffle.

Not being able to remove marked or finished episodes is a straight up downgrade and removal of an option/feature. I follow so many shows that I only listen to when they cover a subject I'm interested in. Now I have to endlessly scroll the new "feed" and can't get rid of things that week that I've already listened to or don't want to listen to.

I used to go to MyLibrary, then New Episodes and my unplayed podcast episodes would appear.  Today I got the message: looking for new episodes? Latest episodes are now on podcast feed on home.  Yes they are,  but a million played and unplayed episodes appear.  I just want to see the unplayed episodes of my podcasts.  Is that no longer possible?

This makes Spotify largely useless for those of us who listen to a fixed set of podcasts daily and rely on having them appear in one feed. It is the absolute worst change you could have made. It affects my spotify use immediately and you need to change it back now or i will have to find an alternative tomorrow.

Dessi, the user understands what was changed, they are complaining about the change.  I agree with them and appreciated how the new episodes tab worked.  I want a list of new episodes in one spot not a list of everything I follow and need to click on each podcast to find the new episodes.  Change it back please!

Awful change. I assumed it was a bug, and searched online to see how to fix. To see this is a planned change is incomprehensible. I'm looking elsewhere for podcasts now.

You aren't improving anything. You have tried to change the "new episodes" location and format multiple times and it fails every time because it's then twice as hard to find and filter what's actually new and updated on podcasts. This change sucks and so does your dev team"s listening skills when it comes to things paying customers actually like.

the spotify value proposition is user friendly interface. 

The clumsiness and now significantly poorer podcast experience due to not having new episodes feature in the list format will be enough for me to switch to Apple music. 

It was the best part of the app. 

Why spend millions on podcasts when users now can't listen to them without scrolling for 4 minutes. 

I want to listen to episodes as they appear across podcasts now I have to pull over and scroll and select what's next. Why did we time travel backwards by 10 years? 

Insane misunderstanding of your customers. Senior marketing shpuld be ashamed.

fix it or give us the option to use the new episodes feature as it was.

Please bring back the New Episodes playlist. It makes navigating podcasts so much easier, far easier than this new approach.
