My Question or Issue

Upon Selecting a Searched Song in my library using the Library's search bar, Spotify No Longer Automatically goes to the song's location. Back then, like a few weeks ago, it still did. Now that I went back to using my Desktop PC Spotify app instead of my phone for work, I learned that when I search a song using my Library's internal search bar, upon selecting, NOT playing, SELECTING, the song, it no longer goes to the song's location. Did Spotify remove that great feature ? because if so, then that's absolutely horrible and an absolutely awful decision. Thank you.

Hi there @Mccoolfriend6,

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be glad to help you use the library features to their fullest.

To ensure we're all on the same page, let's clarify what exactly you're trying to do. Do you mean the search field on the left Library sidebar or the one within playlists? We tested on our end and if you search for a song within a playlist, select it and then clear the search, the app will indeed jump to that song's location within the list. Is this what you're trying to do?

To make it clear, please make a screen recording of what you're trying to do so we can see the exact steps and the behaviour you have and try to reproduce it on our side. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

Let us know how it goes.
