Offline play

So guys... How do I download my music so it plays offline? I had the download feature when I logged into my windows computer but on both my phone and Chromebook there was no option to download my playlist.

Hi @Mystical-Mayhem

Before you download your favourite tracks, albums or playlists. Ensure you have a good Wifi connection.

I can give you the settings for the Mobile App but I'm unsure if your Chromebook will be the same as for your mobile or desktop.

Some settings to check first. Like what quality do you want to download & how much storage can you use on your device.

  • 100 tracks is approx 5.5 hrs. At "Very high" quality this will use 770 mb of storage (0.14 GB/hr)
  • 100 tracks at 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC can use upto 5.5 GB (upto 1GB/hr). For my fave playlist I'm using 3.0 GB over 105 tracks.

On your phone Lossless downloading might not be an issue. For your Chromebook it may be more challenging.

You could download "Lossless" to your phone then use "Very high" on your Chromebook

For Mobile > Settings > Media Quality > Download Quality

Another setting to check

Settings > Data-saving and offline > Offline > Offline access (turned on)

Now you're good to go, click on the (down arrow) in the play bar

Please let me know how if this has you sorted. Don't hesitate to reply if you need more information
