Playlist Search

Hey,

when i search for a artist in my playlist I want to play just the songs that popped up with the search but Spotify just continues playing my usual order.

Hey there,

You are right, if you only search for an artist in a playlist and select a song, it will keep on playing your normal order.

To fix this, you can sort your playlist by artists and all songs of each artist will stay together alphabetically.

If you are using Spotify on a desktop, you can do this by clicking on "ARTIST" on the top of the row where it lists the artist name for each song.

If you are using a mobile device, scroll to the very top and even further, and click "Filters" on the top right corner. There, select "Artist"

Your songs will now play in the order of your artists, however, if you only want to listen to one artist, then you'll need to create a new playlist with only the songs you want to listen to.
