Hi there,

Welcome to the Community!

A playlist shouldn't just disappear from your library so let's go through some of the possibilities for why this can have happened.

You can start by logging out > back in twice in a row to resync the connection between the device and your account.

Is it a personal playlist that you've created? Since you mentioned it's not been deleted, could you confirm if you've also checked this via the Account Page? You can take a look under "Recover deleted playlists" in this help article

Keep in mind that if it was a Spotify-created playlist or a playlist made by another user, even if you've saved it to your Library it'll disappear if it's deleted by its owner.

Let us know how it goes ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a major prolem. I I tried to transfer via Smart Switch to a new phone. It would not work.

So I re-installed Spotify from Play Store as a 2-month free client on my new phone & started creating NEW playlists.

I mistakingly uninstalled the original sub. on my old phone, BUT STILL HAVE IT ON MY PC (Antroid).

CAN ITRANSFER THE PC SUBSCRIPTION TO MY NEW PHONE (and get rid of the free sub.)???

Hey @GaryOz,

Thanks for reaching out!
A subscription is not tied to a device but to your account ๐Ÿ™‚
To log in to the correct account on your mobile device, follow these steps:

On your desktop app, click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select Account:

From there, select Edit Profile and you'll be able to see your username and email. You can use either one to log in to your mobile device. In case you don't remember your password, you can reset it.

Tip: It's also possible that you've chosen an alternative log in method, such as Google or Facebook, in which case you can try logging in with these instead!

Note: If you wish to add any of the playlists, created on the free account to your original account, take a look at this FAQ article. In case you wish to close the new account, follow the steps from this support article.

Hope this helps! We're here for you in case further questions arise.

Ok so basically, what happened: I'm a fan of collecting playlists of my favorite interests, I use both pc and a motorola phone, the issue is, I was just testing the folder option cause I didn't know it existed, I deleted the folder once I saw it didn't work like I expected and moved on (note: all of the playlists in the folder were abt a character from a streamer called "Philza" this is a biiiit important since it was like, 20+ playlists and some of them WEREN'T NAMED with his name on it, so even if I search for the exact playlists they aren't easy to find) the thing is, I moved on, didn't open the app till today (I deleated the folder yesterday) and searched for a philza playlist by going onto the search bar and typing "philza" normally, my search bar would be FLOODED with the playlists that I saved, but THEY WEREN'T THERE, worst part? I googled everywhere and it says that no, deleting a folder doesn't remove the playlists, just y'know, separates them again, THE THING IS, they aren't in my library no matter how I search it, I reinstalled the app on pc and nothing, and, the worst part is that I was looking for them to see if they were still public, AND THEY WERE, and I clicked on a playlist that I had saved previously, AND IT MARKED AS IF IN MY LIBRARY BUT IT ISN'T, I HAD TO REMARK IT FOR IT TO REAPER, can someone pls help? note: I remember actually opening the app at night, like 1 AM and seeing them still there cause I searched for like "philza chill" and it was there, wth j--j just pls help cause I don't have the time or sanity to find a way to fix this on my own OR save or search for other playlists (like literally I only listen TO THOSE and nothing else, and, I don't know but I think more of them disappeared, and yes, I checked on the deleted part to restore them, but it says I have nothing to restore)
note: I wrote this 2 days ago so....YEAH IT'S BEEN A WHILE AND NOTHING I TRIED SOLVED IT AND I REALIZED MORE PLAYLISTS THAN THE ONES I MENTIONED DISAPPEARED
