Sounds like you either have Enhance or Smart Shuffle toggled on. Both features add song recommendations to the current playlist/queue, and while active, you won't be able to sort, filter, or search in a playlist, and cannot swipe to queue tracks.
Follow the steps below to disable them:
- Enhance: tap the Enhanced button.
- Smart Shuffle: tap the Shuffle button and switch to regular play/shuffle.
