I have a premium account and I just started having this issue...
(I'm using the desktop version of Spotify on my MacBook Air)
I make a playlist, add songs and a cover if needed then set it to playlist. But, it doesn't show up on my profile and other people can't see it too. I tried this with my other account and I had the same problem too. I also tried setting the playlist public on my phone and it shows up there but not on my desktop version. What's going on and how can I solve this? I'm someone who loves making playlists for others so this is quite annoying 😞
Update: I tried doing it on the Web player and it worked but it still didn't show up on my desktop version.

It's possible that the playlist was reported and the system detected something unusual about it, so it made it private automatically. I'd recommend checking your inbox for any recent emails from Spotify you may have received as there may be something in there which could give a bit more insight on the matter.
If the issue persists, it's worth making a new playlist and copying the contents of the old one into it (you can do so from the three dots menu of the old playlist > Add to other playlist > New playlist). After that, you can add it to your profile and it should show up.

Hihi I think (?) you're using the website version if so I think that's the problem. I tried it on the real app and on my phone like I made it public there and it worked.
I’m having this problem. I have 2 accounts and when I tried to find my playlist from my first account, it doesn’t appear. It was there for quite some time, and now it’s just magically gone. I’ve had this problem before but I just made another playlist. But now I am tired of this happening, and having spotify be so buggy. I have cleared my cache, signed in and out, made the playlist private then set it back to public, and have added it to my profile, and still doesn’t pop up. Help me resolve this problem, so I can continue with spotify.

For me, I made a playlist, and on my profile, it said it's public, but when I asked my friends if they saw it, they said no

I'm having this issue too. I only have two playlists that I've added to my profile, and they show up on my end, but when my friend tries to view my profile neither of the playlists show up. I am on desktop app and when I click on the three dots there's no option for make public/private. What should I do?

I'm trying to share my playlist but when others click on the link it either doesn't load or says it's private. My playlist is public, on my profile and even says someone was able to join as a collaborator (despite him being unable to even see it). Any possible help?
