My Question or Issue

Since today, I've been experiencing video freezing randomly on PC (no matter the OS) and dropping in quality (looks like probably lowest) randomly on Android. Which seems to indicate that it's a problem that the Android app is simply better equipped to deal with.

I checked whether it could be my connection by downloading large files (and keeping an eye on incoming traffic in task manager), monitoring ping times, looking at modem error rates - all looking good.

Thanks for reaching out on the Community! And kudos for already doing some research on your own 🙂

Just to confirm, do you notice the same behavior when using another internet connection? For example, you can try with another WiFi or temporarily connect to a hot spot created on your phone. If you're using any VPN, make sure to switch it off as well, as it may interfere with the service.

Also, does this seem to happen with all podcasts and episodes, or just with a specific one? Are you having any issues with podcast videos on the Web Player?

I actually haven't experienced those problems any more today. Guess there was a hitch in the system somewhere yesterday. First time in like half a year though.

(I don't use a VPN and my PC is on a wired connection. Should it happen again, I'll try the other things that you mentioned. 🙂 )
