Device

All - iPhone XS, Macbook Pro late 2016, Macbook Pro late 2018, any devices playlist followers are using.

Operating System

This playlist is still public on my side, but none of the followers can see it any longer. I've been running it for the past 6 years and ran into this issue the past 2 months.

Followers of the playlist receive the message "The owner of this playlist has made it private or removed from Spotify." Which is not true.

My support attempts via chat or Twitter have ended in "check your email for more info on this issue" but I never receive an email. I do still receive promotional emails from Spotify, though. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello  @wesdavenport!

Thanks for coming to the Community. Does this happen with other playlists as well or is it only this one? As a workaround, you can try copying the songs onto a new playlist:

  1. Open your playlist in your Desktop client.
  2. Press Shift + Click any song.
  3. Press Ctrl + "A" to select all songs.
  4. Press Ctrl + "C" to copy the songs.
  5. Click on the "New playlist" button in the left side menu.
  6. Press Ctrl + "V" to paste the songs.
  7. Customise the playlist name and cover.

Once the playlist is created try making it public by right-clicking the playlist > "Add to profile".

Make sure to let me know how this goes 🙂
