I use Spotify premium on my MacBook Pro, ever since the new update came I can’t filter my playlist to show recently added. I can pick a date added option but it’s nothing different from how it is without filter. Does anyone else have that problem and also know how to fix it? It’s really annoying.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community, and welcome 🙂


Make sure you perform a clean reinstall of the app first. This will get you the latest app version with all necessary updates.


In case it makes no difference, we'd recommend trying with another Internet connection to see if the issue persists.

Hey @Moalol 


You will need to click the top of the "date added" column where the "date added" title is twice to sort a playlist so that it shows the most recent added songs first.


If you are using the dropdown menu, you will need to click on the "date added" column once more.
